OCTA Factory AP 15510 Watch Analysis6339
来源:OCTA OCTA is best understood not as a clean-slate factory but as a successor that absorbed APS’s production infrastructure after APS was shut down. Its AP 15510 carries the same Shanghai 4302 V2 movement that APS had used—a true free-sprung calibre with regulating weights, not the hidden-cardinality shortcut found in some Dongdang-based alternatives. In principle, that makes the OCTA movement more faithful to the genuine 4302’s free-sprung, weight-adjusted architecture, which uses a three-arm balance with six timing weights and an Incabloc shock absorber. The compromise lies elsewhere. OCTA’s 15510 still inherits APS-era dial components, and the hour markers do not sit as close to the edge as they should—a tell that the dial was adapted from the older 15500 rather than executed as a fresh 15510 specification. In daily wear, the Shanghai 4302 delivers acceptable timekeeping, but its power reserve is notably shorter than the genuine 70-hour figure, with real-world autonomy closer to 40 hours under a full wind. The movement finishing is respectable for the price tier, though it does not approach genuine AP standards of anglage and surface decoration. OCTA therefore occupies a specific niche: a free-sprung 4302 platform with correct architecture but visible concessions in dial precision and reserve. It suits buyers who prioritize the regulating-system detail over cosmetic and endurance perfection.
